Weekly meeting slot for technical topics. We will try and focus on one topic per meeting.  We will announce at the Tuesday Ops meeting if this meeting is going ahead and if so the topic to be discussed.

 

Lancaster

Still in a planning stage, taking stock of current hardware and rack setup.  Probably will purchase through Dell and aim to place orders by end of July.

 

ECDF

No significant GridPP procurement this year.

 

QMUL

Only buying storage this year, can't take delivery until after Christmas (due to access to the machine room).  Starting to investigate possibilities.

 

Imperial

Combined their GridPP money with IRIS and made a procurement last year.  No planned spend currently.

 

Glasgow

Just taken delivery of last years hardware.  Will be starting this years procurement now.  Probably buying both CPU and Disk.
