Experimental Particle and Astro-Particle Physics Seminar

Description

Abstract: The detection of gravitational waves from pairs of black holes has allowed one to observe the Universe in ways that were not possible before. I will review existing results and discuss several exciting opportunities for exploring the dark universe. In particular, I will focus on probes of dark matter, which may leave several unique and measurable signatures on gravitational-wave emission, and gravitational-wave lensing, which may uncover hidden objects and structures.
