Dear all, the next video conference is scheduled for today 10:30 AM CERN time. Agenda as below. regards German - Quattor work - status of wassh re-engineering (Sharma) - Lemon developments (Murthy, Sharma, Salim) - CCTracker (Dinesh, Bill ) ---------------------------------- Murthy: Hi German, The status report is as below, Work started on implementing encryption facility for lemon samples. Discussed via email the message format, agent configuration features etc with Miro. regards murthy ---------------------------------- Dinesh: Dear German / Bill , The use case of adding racks and other objects implemented and tested. Final testing with server side implementation is in progress. I'm also testing the new features added to CCTracker client since the last release in order to prepare the new release. Best regards, Dinesh --------------------------------- Salim: Hi German, Status report is as below:- Working on following lemon api extensions as suggested by Miro: 1. Support for set_metrics_by_class, add_metrics_by_class and remove_metrics_by_class methods in the lemon api. 2. Support for retrieving samples from the local spool directory cache using the same methods. 3. Support for add_node, remove_node methods in lemon api. In addition studying libxml2 SAX parsing techiniques. This is taking much time as not much support is available on Internet on libxml2 SAX parsing. Regards, Salim ------------------------------ Sharma: Dear German, Here is my status report: Wassh2- First version of wassh2 was put in CERN for tests and we have found a few suggestions/requirements as listed below. 01. Support for --type, --room options 02. Remove/comment the --power option 03. Compact reporting. 04. Support for subclusters 05. Support for --list option even there is no shell command specified. 06. Supporting comments by Marco Emilio regarding return values 07. Restrict cluster expansion support only to the --cluster|-c option 08. (From Dennis) Wildcards do not work in the --exclude-hosts option 09. This syntax should work: /usr/sbin/wassh -l root "lxb[6260,7092,6146]" "uptime" 10. Document syntax changes clearly from wassh-1 to wassh-2, in particular the need of quoting arguments sent over SSH, and that root@<cluster> is discontinued (see point 07) 11. The file of the -f option should ignore lines with # (comments) and blank lines. Items 1 to 7 are completed except no. 6, presently working on the other items. regards Sharma
