Tom Faulkner - Reflected Entropy for Holography and Beyond

Abstract:

I will discuss a new quantum information measure, called reflected entropy, that was originally discovered in holography. Reflected entropy goes beyond entanglement entropy in its ability to constrain the patterns of entanglement and in holographic theories allows one to move beyond probing minimal surfaces in the emergent bulk. I will then discuss more recent results on studying this quantity in random tensor networks where similar dualities are discovered.
