0. Ongoing Action List
Updated in Savannah task list.
1. Production Issues
Security problems of the last week: all our machines are now patched. For what regards sites, all the T1s are upgrading and rebooting their worker nodes. Essentially, apart from GridKA, all the sites should be back in production tomorrow.
2. DIRAC Release Update
An announcement has been circulated. Everyone should start tagging their own system.
A new certification test has been setup by Stuart. The full chain will be tested, from MC to T2 to Condition DB. The procedure has been put on a twiki page.
3. Data caching tests using DIRAC FC
Andrew proposed to use a DIRAC catalog to cache the storage usage. What has to be done is just to add a new catalog in the CS, so this simple modification can be added in the next release.
4. DIRAC Tasks
- Infrastructure monitoring (SAM,SLS,Dashboard)
Alarms produced by checking the SLS sensors on SE space will be moved from Roberto's scratch area to the DIRAC/RSS machinery. Nagios migration: half of the tests have already been migrated, the other half requires a STOMP interface. SAM suite: condDB tests available now.
- Resource Status System
A document has been produced that describes the changes that has been decided. It will be circulated shortly. On the development side, I'm in the middle of a developing and testing a high number of changes also involving a change in the schema.
- Bookkeeping status
New tables have been introduced, will be added in production with the next release.
- WMS status
Just few fixes here and there.
- DMS status
Few things in the clients for the SRM and catalogs.
- Documentation
Script prepared. Sphinx and Epydoc combined. Documentation itself should be written. A skeleton for it is partially done in SVN.
5. AOB
CHEP presentations have to be write up. In the next 2 weeks at least a skeleton has to ready.
