• Organize a workshop on instrumentation and detectors (ID) needs in mid-November 2021 or December 2021
  • Goal: assess the activity and needs of ID from all other ASFAP working groups
  • Participants: ASFAP working groups
  • Possible format:
    • Provide a summary of existing activities and LOIs including information presented at the IDWG ASFAP_TownHall meeting
    • Seek ID needs from ASFAP working groups with the help of a 1-slide template 
• Other possible LOI ideas for discussion
  • Annual  (?) African conference on instrumentation & detectors
  • Bi-annual or annual workshop on instrumentation & detectors
  • Add an instrumentation curriculum  to AIMS centres to complement the theoretical/math curriculum
  • School on instrumentation & detectors
    • Possible format
      • Duration: 2 weeks
      • Coupled to ASP
      • Include hands-on activities

  • Any other
