The school currently boards over 400 students in different-profiled classes, including a Mathematics-Physics oriented course attended by around 100 students. Each year, approx. 15% of the graduates choose

Physics for their baccalaureate exams. Since many years, the students have participated in the Physics Olympiad, physics papers contests and Polish physics competitions such as "Eureka"/"Lwiątko". Some of them have achieved high ranks and distinctions in these competitions.

The school collaborates with the National Centre for Nuclear Research in Świerk, Poland, where each year the students learn about the operation of a nuclear reactor and perform experiments.

All physics-related extracurricular activities are organized and managed by Stanisław Grabowski, who has been teaching at the School since 1983.
