Description
Update on the CTF3 current stability studies, Implication of 2GHz vs. 1GHz RF in the damping ring, Planned work on the damping ring impedances, LINAC10 summary

Participants: E. Adli, F. Antoniou, S. Bettoni, R. Corsini, B. Dalena, A. Gerbershagen, A. Grudiev, B. Jeanneret, E. Kokouvini, E. Marin, Y. Papaphillippou, J. Pfingstner, G. Rumolo, D. Schulte, J. Snuverink, G. Sterbini, F. Stulle, A. Vivoli

D.S. reported on the CSC meeting. It was discussed which CLIC related studies could be performed in the future at ATF2. A program should be provided soon. Possibilities could be to test quadrupoles, a feed-forward on ground motion, kicker systems and a wiggler prototype.

G.S. presented the new current feedback system at CTF3 and showed results of current stability measurements. He discussed possible sources of current jitter.

Y.P. discussed whether 1 GHz or 2 GHz is a more suitable frequency for the damping rings. A.G. asked for specifications on bunch length jitter and energy spread jitter. F.S. will provide numbers.

F.S. gave a short summary of LINAC10.

The presentation "Planned work on the damping ring impedances" has been postponed.
