During the dedicated PS MD on Oct 13th we were not able to insert the PS injection SEM grids (BSG48,52,54) with RAL OUT and BSG-RAL interlock overridden, as expected to be possible, e.g. according to specs approved here: https://edms.cern.ch/document/1832360/1.0

• Is the problem fully understood to be on the RAL protection layer enabled depending on the ‘user’ ?
• If yes:
  o When was this protection implemented and who was aware on Oct 13th?
  o why was not evidenced during the HWC in February ?
• How to safely re-configure the RAL (and BSG if needed) PLCs to enable multi-turn BSG measurements (‘by procedure’ as agreed time ago ) ?
• Do we have to re-consider other configurations/conditions and re-define the IST and the HWC test sequences to include all scenarios?
