How to reach the boat trip departure point "Estação Fluvial do Terreiro do Paço"
The simplest way to reach the boat trip departure point is to take the Metro green line at the "Alameda" station close to IST in the direction "Cais do Sodré". Get out at the "Rossio" or "Baixa-Chiado" station (see the map below).
Once you are at Rossio or Baixa-Chiado (see the map above), walk towards the river until you get to the "Terreiro do Paço" square. From there you will be able to see the boat trip departure station "Estação Fluvial do Terreiro do Paço", close to the "Terreiro do Paço" Metro station (blue line).
If you want to arrive directly at the Metro station close to the departure point, you can take the Metro at "Alameda" (as indicated above), change to the blue line in "Baixa-Chiado" (direction "Santa Apolónia") and get out at "Terreiro do Paço" where the boat station is.
Alternatively, you can take the Metro close to IST at "Saldanha" (red line) in the direction "São Sebastião" (one stop only). There, you change to the blue line and take the metro in the direction of "Santa Apolónia". Get out at the "Terreiro do Paço" station, where the boat trip starts (see the map above).
We meet at 5.45pm in front of the boat station. The boat will leave at 6.00pm sharp. The endpoint of the boat trip is the same as the departure one. We are expected to arrive there at 8.00pm, and after we will walk to the restaurant "Casa do Alentejo" (see the map above) where the Social Dinner will take place at 8.30pm.
For those who prefer not go on the boat trip, please be at "Casa do Alentejo" at 8.30pm. You can reach the restaurant very easily from Rossio as shown in the map.
