We the Department of Physics at University of Jammu (India) are organizing two day event for the informal science education and outreach under the flagship programme Physics Masterclasses by IPPOG. These masterclasses will feature:

• Talks: Fundamentals of particle Physics, Heavy ion collisions, spin-offs, career oppotunities..
• Virtual visit to ALICE experiment
• Hands-on session with real data
• Video conference with scientists@CERN

Those who want to learn about what this field of research is all about are encouraged to participate. Participants who attend four session during this two day event will be provided participation certificates.
