Description

This talk will explore some low-energy consequences of accidental approximate scale invariances and relatively supersymmetric gravity sectors that are arguably robust consequences of UV physics. The talk focuses in particular on surprises associated with the potential implications of these symmetries for obtaining accelerating cosmologies in the very early and contemporary universe.
