IdeaSquare

CERN

Description

Challenge Based Innovation (CBI) is a project course where multidisciplinary student teams and their instructors collaborate with researchers at CERN to discover novel solutions for the future of humankind. The projects are an elaborate mixture where societal, human-driven needs meet research at CERN.

OPER CBI, students from University of Bologna, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, and University of Ferrara (Italy) work in teams to create and prototype ideas for sustainable future. For more information, please contact: laura.wirtavuori@cern.ch

Directions on how to get to CERN you can find here: https://home.cern/directions

When on CERN site, you can find the meeting venue IdeaSquare behind the Globe, across what is now the Science Gateway parking construction site. Walk past the Globe, through a gate in the fence, turn left, and you'll find IdeaSquare. HIVE, the space that will be used for Monday and Tuesday, you can find here.

For registering your laptop/mobile phone for wifi access at CERN, please fill in a request here: http://cern.ch/registerVisitorComputer - and use Catarina Batista as the CERN contact person (on the last page of the request form).

*Estimated number of 25 attendants

Note: It is possible that small changes in the programme will be made in the meantime due to CERN personnel availability.
