    We propose to investigate the charmonium production and spectroscopy using their decays to p pbar final state at LHCb. The yield of J/ψ → p pbar is estimated to be about 60 events/pb−1 at √s = 7 TeV, which should be achieved soon. We will also discuss a potential re-discovery of the hc state at LHCb using the p pbar final state.
