- presentation of the ongoing HFM magnet activities ad brief intro on SMT
- Presentation of the testing capability of the cryolab towards magnet application
Strong interest for material characterization: thermal conductivity, heat capacity, thermal contraction, porosity.
SMT will prepare a list of samples (epoxy samples, tested coil samples) with possible tests to be submitted to Patricia and Rob.
Additional brainstorming should be done on the "cryo-sustainability" of future magnets. Dedicated discussion on the 14+T should be led. Cryogenics consideration should be included in the specification of the magnet.
