      Other "needs discussion" topics

      PostgreSQL scheduler DB:

      • Next step is to merge the new class skeletons developed by David.
      • After this, David will be researching the best approach for implementing and managing the queues with PostgreSQL. Several approaches will be taken into considerations, including partitioning the tables as well as the approach followed by Michael during his tests.

REPACKING tape state and queue cleanup:

      • Joao will check if a newer version of gtest can be used for our unit-tests. The current one is quite outdated.

      • Newer versions are available on link1, link2.

Move subdirectories from CTA dev repo into new repos:

      • Gitlab team is available to migrate the issues whenever we decide.

      • We decided to do the migration on Wednesday next week.

      • Everyone should be using the new repo before going on holidays.

Update scheduler to use file creation time provided by frontend:

      • Michael will research current implementation on CTA, so that we have more material before discussing an approach to Tigrans suggestion.
