Description

The International Particle Physics Outreach Group (IPPOG), in collaboration with Women in Technology (WIT), will host a masterclass in particle physics designed for people working at CERN who have little or no scientific background.

Masterclasses ofter a unique opportunity to work with real data from current experiments to get an understanding and appreciation of how research and discovery work.

IPPOG has been organising the International Masterclasses Programme for over 10 years, now.  Each year, thousands of students from all over the world get the opportunity to become scientists for a day, to learn science methodology, and to experience the excitement of discovery, first hand.

Now, we are offering that experience for personnel at CERN who do not usually get that opportunity, themselves.
