  1. The interim report: the collection of contributions is due by November 30, 2022.  We will collate what we receive  by that date and regenerate the report. The report will be submitted to the International Advisory Committee (IAC) as a progress report on ASFAP. It will also serve as a reference for all our efforts since ASFAP was launched 2 years ago. It is just an interim report; so, we must keep working towards the final report.
  2. How to proceed on ASFAP after the interim report. We would like to start in early 2023 with the development of white papers. To do so, we suggest to proceed as follows:
    1. Conveners of each working group should review the interim report, surveys (if available), LOIs and prior working group  activities and come up a few major  topics  that they would like to develop as white papers within their groups. Please send these topics to the STC by December 31, 2022.
    2. We  will resume meetings in 2023 to review the topics of each working group, understand the scope of work to be done on each white paper, and decide how to organize the work. For some white papers, we may already have a wealth of materials based on prior work; for others, we may need to solicit broader community participation.
