“It was my desire to convey to others the essence of that world, which inspired me to become a photographer.
Since 1995, I have taken photographs of one and the same Bedouin family in the desert of Syria over 17 years. 
It is very important to know the present situation of Syria. Moreover, it is more important to know how wonderful Syria is.”

“C’est mon désir de transmettre aux autres l’essence de ce monde qui m’a poussé à devenir photographe.
Depuis 1995, j’ai photographié une seule et même famille bédouine dans le désert de Syrie pendant 17 ans. 
Il est très important de connaître la situation actuelle de la Syrie. En outre, il est encore plus important de savoir à quel point la Syrie est merveilleuse.”
