ACTION TO BE DONE:

  • Ask Joel the delays for Hositrad -> June.
  • Ask Joel if the BPM clamps shall maintain fixed or sliding the cables -> Shall be sliding in the clamp -> Action for Luca to update the design.
  • Ask the delays from Plansee (Federico) -> End of March
  • Dylan call Emilien when TCLPX jaws ready for untightening
  • STI shall re-machine the interconnect (2 modifications)
  • Emilien and team will try to bend the spare cooling properly with a tool -> Did not worked -> Planning update by Dylan.
  • Luca and team shall sign in C1: Interconnect, Flanges
  • Romain and Emilien shall put a report on the indico regarding RF fingers and tomography.
  • Romain will contact C. Garion that is used to design RF fingers for other application to get advice.
  • Emilien will give new delays for RF fingers (since wrong dimension + surface treatment)
  • Emmanuel will perform the modification of the switches support to remove the pins.
  • Luca shall find the reference available on website for the TCTPXH washers.

OTHER ACTIONS:

Switch integration:

  • New version with new support to maintain switches, screws changed, pin to remove because we set in position after assembly.
  • To be produced by STI -> The blue support will be 3D printed.

TCC:

  • TCC preliminary test beginning with fake jaw.
  • A test to remove water avec TCC has been performed.

BPM flanges:

  • Tomography done, the welding of the connector itself is good, we cannot see the inside (ceramic) -> Difficult to give a conclusion here (check attached report).
  • 4 new flanges under production to re-launch test -> A discussion with AP and STI and BI will be organized.

RF fingers:

  • Wrong curt from chemical team, new ones under chemical cut.
  • Romain performed several treatments (tri-acide, electropolishing, Subu) with M. Thibert, Subu seems the best solution (check attached report). -> 800CHF for 20 fingers.
  • Romain will check if it is necessary to do silver plating, and if yes, which thickness.
  • Adjust length of the RF fingers testbench.

Design:

  • TCLP, TCSPM, TCTPM folders: not started
  • Post-proto modifications regarding Dylan’s Excel: ongoing for jaws, done for mechanical table, almost finished for feet
  • Switch integration: drawing to be done
  • TCTPXV review and modifications for serie: Emanuel working on it
  • Mechanical table procedure check: ongoing
  • Gabarit for cooling pipes production and assembly: ongoing
  • Copper wedges for jaws posing during vacuum test (STI)

Assembly:

  • TCTPXH jaws re-assembled without blocks to do a fake insertion in the tank.
  • Tank sub-components assembled.

Procurement:

  • Inermet blocks production ongoing, arriving at CERN End of March

Production MME:

  • Tank cover arriving mid-March (input from Emilien) then cleaning.
  • Nanoker will re-machine the wrong blocks

Update on planning:

  • Collimators shall be operational for July
    • TCLPX prevision: Mid-October
    • TCTPXH prevision: Mid-November
    • RF fingers, Inermet, BPM flanges, TCC test bench are on the critical path.

Update for the serie:

  • Create a tool to avoid DN300 to pull bellows during tank leak test
  • Reduce height and width of the clamps
  • Check to put an elastic element as TCLPX for TCTPXH and avoid overlength of the blocks
  • Define a probe cable length for serie with Jerome
