ACTION TO BE DONE: 

  • Dylan call Emilien when TCLPX jaws ready for untightening.
  • Luca and team shall sign in C1: Interconnect, Flanges, gabarit.
  • Emilien shall put a report on the indico regarding tomography.
  • Romain will contact C. Garion that is used to design RF fingers for other application to get advice.
  • Luca shall find the reference available on website for the TCTPXH washers.
  • Carlotta will check the energy deposition to check if the extremity blocks need a good cooling (Emmanuel will send a screen of the CAD model).
  • Romain will order and cut and clean and silver plating M4x35.
  • Dylan and Romain will find the LHCTCTPXH_0013 missing (but not very far…).
  • Dylan will send the update for the interconnection tool to Emmanuel. (Done)
  • Gregory will give feedback of the PT100 vacuum test once performed (gaine under VSC cleaning this time, as for LS2).
  • Emmanuel will update the gabarit to change the housing by pins to delimitate the contour, with some margin around. Only 1 drawing for X H and V, another model for TCSPM. Emmanuel will give the CDD to Dylan to add it on the Excel tool.

 

OTHER ACTIONS:

TCC:

  • TCC preliminary test started with TCLPX.
  • Several test ongoing to validate the testbench and for Luisa and Carlotta (with all the data).

 

BPM flanges:

  • Tomography done, the welding of the connector itself is good, we cannot see the inside (ceramic) -> Difficult to give a conclusion here (check attached report).
  • 4 new flanges under production to re-launch test -> A discussion with AP and STI and BI will be organized. 1 flange ongoing in machining to test welding with passive cooling with TIG. SubD9 ordered by Jerome.

 

RF fingers:

  • Romain launch silver plating: 2x5mm, 1x10mm, 1x15mm. EBW ongoing.
  • Adjust length of the RF fingers testbench.

 

Design:

  • TCLP, TCSPM, TCTPM folders: not started 
  • Post-proto modifications regarding Dylan’s Excel: ongoing for jaws, done for mechanical table, almost finished for feet
  • TCTPXV review and modifications for serie: Emanuel working on it 
  • Mechanical table procedure check: ongoing 
  • Gabarit for cooling pipes production and assembly: ongoing
  • Copper wedges for jaws posing during vacuum test (STI)

 

Assembly:

  • TCTPXH jaws re-assembled without blocks to do a fake insertion in the tank.
  • Tank sub-components assembled.

 

Procurement:

  • Inermet blocks production ongoing, arriving at CERN End of March

 

Production MME: 

  • Tank cover arriving mid-March (input from Emilien) then cleaning. 
  • Nanoker will re-machine the wrong blocks 

 

Update on planning: 

  • Collimators shall be operational for July. 
    • TCLPX prevision: Mid-October 
    • TCTPXH prevision: Mid-November
    • RF fingers, Inermet, BPM flanges, TCC test bench are on the critical path. 
    • Cooling for April

 

Update for the serie:

  • Check to put an elastic element as TCLPX for TCTPXH and avoid overlength of the blocks. 
  • Define a probe cable length for serie with Jerome. 
  • Put sliding contact for BPM clamps.
