MINUTE 69 :

URGENT ACTIONS:

  • TCC test to be re-launch in automatic with good values of flow and outlet temperature and JMQ will correct the launching condition of the TCC
  • Inermet validation phase ongoing – 11th of April
  • TCLPX insertion with 1 pin
  • Dylan will add 8 days for BPM flanges UHV validation after the production
  • Gregory will check to produce 1 short NEG Cartridge, otherwise ok with the integration to put a long one (50mm more)
  • Validate the flexibles : Different manifold regarding L or R is ok regarding the spares ? Standardize L and R length ? To be confirmed with FX
  • RF fingers first cycling finished at 25k cycles -> under measurement (silver coating thickness remaining)
  • MME production of flanges, RF components, flanges

OTHER ACTIONS:

TCC:

  • Official cycles to be performed once the TCLPX will be available
  • JMQ will test automatic cycles.

BPM flanges:

  • 4 new flanges under production to re-launch test
  • 1 test flange with passive cooling during welding has been validated

RF fingers:

  • Cycling finished, under measurements
  • We can assemble the RF component after tank closing if necessary
  • Romain is preparing a report

Design

  • TCLP, TCSPM, TCTPM folders: not started.
  • Post-proto modifications regarding Dylan’s Excel: ongoing for jaws, done for mechanical table, almost finished for feet
  • TCTPXV review and modifications for serie: Emanuel working on it
  • Mechanical table procedure check: ongoing
  • TCLM masks
  • Copper wedges for jaws posing during vacuum test (STI)

Assembly:

  • TCTPXH waiting for blocks
  • Tank Screen rails to be re-assembled
  • Tank cover to be test-assembled
  • TCLPX to insert playing with the fixing plate and then final assembled
  • Luisa gives to Dyln the torque to be applied on the tensionning plates

Procurement:

  • Inermet blocks arrived at CERN, under validation for 11th of April
  • Nanoker will re-machine the wrong blocks -> Dylan will prepare the blocks for Carlotta

Production MME:

  • Flanges to machine: 2xLHCTCLPX_T0129 + 2xLHCTCLPX_T0118 + 2xLHCTC__X_T0116 + 2xLHCTC__X_T0118 -> flanges for proto S21, mock-up S24 with metrology + cleaning
  • BPM flanges : S14 machining - S15/16 : FE – S17 leak test – S17 delivery
  • Cooling circuit : 3 received from ELI industries – little correction on a BPM – No delivery date to give for the moment (remaining steps : machining, metrology, brazing, cleaning, leak test, pressure test)
  • RF collar : Priority -> next Wednesday if Luca gives the C1 on Thursday
  • CAP + spacers + other collar (with electropolishing + rhodium) : 14th of May for STI, Emilien will give us delivery dates when the C2 will be performed
  • RF fingers for tests : 6 fingers under detentioning treatment, Romain asked to silver coat only 2 of them (5 and 15um) – Waiting for instruction for the 4 others fingers.
  • RF fingers for installation in the proto : Delivery dates when we get the confirmation from STI

Update on planning:

  • Collimators shall be operational for July.
    • RF fingers, Inermet, BPM flanges, and RF components on the critical path

Update for the serie:

  • Change a bit the design of the RF fingers (with the little screws) -> Romain will do a proposal
