Attendees : Marcelina Borcz, Emidio Giorgio, Catherine Wang, Vicky Huang, Ivan Marton, Diana Cresti, Pina Salente, Mathilde Romberg, Katarina Pajchel Apologize : Piotr Bala, Kathryn Cassidy Katarina has some difficulty with her microphone, she will send comments, if any, replying to the minutes. --- - Training workshops at EMI-TC : Emidio communicates PEB's request to harmonize installation tutorials : instead of separate workshops by middleware, unify sessions from the EMI functional aspects, having so EMI Compute, EMI Data Management, and so on. Mathilde comments that it would be hard to do so, at least in UNICORE case, because there are some preliminary parts that would be hard to reschedule. Emidio asks if those difficulties are still valid, given that it would be an installation tutorial, and so less background is needed for participants, and for this purpose E. proposes to start with an introduction covering background aspects. Mathilde comments that this is probably not the best option but it can be tried. Emidio will send a tentative schedule to Katarina and Mathilde for further elaboration. - Documentation area at EMI web site : Training task leader apologizes for being not present; the discussion is postponed off-line. - EMI presence at ISGC'11 : Emidio reports that OC is including EMI factsheet in the conference kit that will be distributed to participants, and they also kindly offered to exhibit an EMI poster. Diana asks how much space there would be for other posters, since EMI has available one general poster and four technical ones. Vicky answers that there could be space for another poster, in the best case. Diana proposes to merge technical posters into one flyer, to be added to the conference kit, and produce another poster about EMI news. Pina asks how many participants there will be, and if poster will be exposed in a specific session or an exhibition area. Vicky answers that there will be about 250 users, and EMI posters would be put in a exhibition area, grouped with other projects. Pina asks whether is possible to print stuff there or we have to send paper ready. Vicky answers that it shouldn't be a problem to print things there, if files to be printed are given her in time (third week of February). Diana, Emidio and Pina agrees on begin to work to the new poster. - AOB : Next conference will be Tuesday 1st, at same time (11 am CET). --- Actions : Emidio : Provide a tentative schedule for unified installation workshops. Emidio, Diana, Pina : Provide a preliminar version of the poster, to be submitted to PEB.
