Description
- Undergound tours for colleagues of the IR Sector
- First tour: ATLAS - 7 Feb 16.30 - 18.00 - 12 persons
- Second tour: ATLAS - 7 Feb 17.30 - 19.00 - 12 persons
- Third tour: LHCb - 8 Feb 16.30 - 18.00 - 24 persons
- Tours last 1 hour 30 minutes
- Each tour includes an introduction either in the ATLAS Visitors Centre or the LHCb exhibition
- Limited number of places (12 per ATLAS tour, 24 per LHCb tour)
- Tours will be in English with possibility to interact in French
- Tour is not accessible to:
- Minors under the age of 16
- Pregnant women
- Persons with reduced mobility
- Persons carrying cardiac pacemaker and implantable defibrillator bearers
- Visits are not appropriate for persons suffering from:
- claustrophobia
- vertigo
- Read ATLAS safety rules or LHCb safetly rules before registering
- Meeting point is:
- at CERN Reception for ATLAS tours
- at LHCb P8 entrance gate (Ferney Voltaire) for LHCb tours - participants list will be shared later to organise car pooling
- Registration is mandatory
Please allow those who did not yet have a chance to visit underground to register first, newcomers in particular.
