      • A dev issue was created to use a timeout in the global lock acquisition by the tape server.
      • In addition, we will investigate (by collecting statistics) why the lock duration is long.

      • Jorge will do a pull request with the *flush* related changes. A ticket will also be created to cover this process.

      gRPC integration with CTA frontend

      • Fons is working on it, based on the work that Jacek has developed
