Transfer reactions on neutron-rich magnesium isotopes at the ISOLDE Solenoidal Spectrometer

The ISOLDE solenoidal spectrometer is capable of measuring transfer reactions in inverse kinematics in order to probe the single-particle structure of nuclei. In this talk, an overview of this experimental technique will be given as well as a discussion of recent studies on neutron-rich magnesium isotopes.
