These hackathons are open to all members of CMS, self-organized in small groups of 2-4 people.
The goal is to brainstorm, debug, develop and improve well-defined algorithms or pieces of code, sharing ideas and knowledge, away from emails, meetings, and other distractions.

The deadline for registration is June 5th, 2023, or when the number of registered participants reaches the maximum.

Topics include: performance portability (e.g.alpaka, sycl), new algorithms, optimization, reconstruction, memory management (SoA, caching allocators), ML.
