Next PSC meeting will take place on Mon-Tue 12-13th March. The SEE regional dissemination event day will take place on Wed 14th. All partners are invited to suggest senior speakers from the consortium for the event.
WP1: Ognjen gave a brief overview of progress in WP1 including MoUs, EAB, etc. Valia reported that old equipment probably will not be able to be claimed. Valia announced 20th Feb for 3Q report inputs deadline. Ognjen drew attention to the metrics excel in the quarterly reports, and that all partners should pay attention to the country-level developments since this will be the main line of project evaluation. Ognjen underlined the importance of the Albanian and Moldovan NGI kick-off.
WP2: Gabriel gave the WP2 overview, D2.2 input was received only from AL and TR: this is unacceptable and partners must respond adequately and in due time. The D2.2 draft will nevertheless be sent this week, and all partners must provide per-country plans. Aleksandar will send draft of D2.3 by the end of the month. Gabriel suggested that D2.1 should be kept as a live document so all partners should send updates. Action on Gabriel to define a process of D2.1 updating.
WP3: Ioannis gave WP3 overview on behalf of Antun. The developments are satisfactory. Main open issues are the following. Looking at the initial analysis of the SLA performance a number of sites under-perform seriously. Tickets will be opened for all sites. Ognjen pointed out that he relevant WP3 effort claimed by partners will not be accepted if site performance is unjustifiably unsatisfactory. Moldova should set up a site immediately. Not all sites sent Antun the VO resource commitments: this is an immediate action. MPI support on sites should be re-enforced and Bulgarian team will provide support for this.
WP4 progress has been reported by Zorko. The main issue is that all application reports should be submitted in time and the review committee should review application progress ASAP. The second issue is that gridification wiki is not very active, and all applications developers should contribute.
WP5: All partners should enter ALL events on the Dissemination and Training Calendar website. Also material should be uploaded. Miklos will pursue the need for training of trainers. Ognjen reminded that every partner must provide 1 dedicated training for users, 1 developers, 1 policy makers, 1 public at large, from own funds.
Country-level reports: All country level reports were give except of Albania (nor present) and BiH and Hungary (audio problems). All need to send email reports. Main issues identified per country are:
FYR of Macedonia: NGI should be first established at university level but the country-level actions must be perused. Strategy document and MoU are important. CA to be pursued in the next quarter.
Serbia: No specific open issues. Strategy document to be finalized and presented at the NGI event.
Turkey: Training/Dissemination actions must be pursued in the coming period.
Romania: Apart from flagship application, other application communities should start getting involved. CA actions should be enforced.
Moldova: Immediate actions must be pursued for cluster establishment. Immediate actions needed for training. NGI developments are progressing well but should be finalized until April. Application communities must be identified and one chosen applications should start development.
Bulgaria: No particular issues. The NGI strategy to be presented at high level soon.
Croatia: Issue identified is the need for training and dissemination event in the first year of the project.
Hungary: A clear issue identified is the delay in application development. Flagship application is behind schedule. Not only the flagship application should be supported. The training and dissemination events on own funds should be conducted. The summer school is a regional event and does not qualify.
Montenegro: The national strategy document should be drafted, and CA actions started.
BiH:
