À propos :

Pour célébrer la Journée internationale des filles dans le secteur des technologies de l’information et de la communication (TIC) en avril 2023, trois équipes du CERN joignent leurs forces pour organiser une nouvelle édition de Django Girls Genève : la communauté Women in Technology, l'équipe Visites et organisation d'événements, et le Microclub. 

Django Girls est un atelier d'initiation à la programmation informatique conçu pour les débutants dès 15 ans. L’objectif est d’initier des profanes aux technologies numériques, en particulier les femmes, qui sont sous-représentées dans ce domaine. Dans une ambiance bienveillante et positive, les participants seront coachés par des tutrices et tuteurs du CERN pour apprendre à créer un blog et à le déployer sur internet. L’événement se déroulera, en français et en anglais, en présentiel, à IdeaSquare.

To celebrate the International Girls in ICT Day (ICT = information and communication technologies) in April 2023, three CERN teams are joining forces to organize another edition of Django Girls Geneva: the Women in Technology community, the Visits and Events Operations team and the Microclub.

The Django Girls workshop offers a crash course in computer programming for beginners aged 15 and over. The aim is to introduce digital technologies to the uninitiated, especially women, who are underrepresented in this field. In a supportive and positive environment, the participants will be coached by the CERN tutors in how to create a blog and launch it online. The event will take place in person, in French and English, at IdeaSquare.

Programme:

• Friday 21 April 2023 | 6 p.m. to 7.45 p.m. | Installation party
• Saturday 22 April 2023 | 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. | Workshop
