• Vincenzo: PHD defense at the end of the month. Back beginning of May - drink tomorrow (March 6th) afternoon at 5pm.

root.cern file serving

root.cern has only one Physical machine in the computer center of 2TB of files. EOS is the way to go with a xrootd server run by us. Vincenzo can help when back.

EP R&D proposals update

RNtuple continuation of phase and RDF scale out (Jakob). The chance to find funding is quite High.
Lorenzo and Axel: a library accelerator lib for vectors and matrices - Histogram on the GPU and cppyy and CLING.

• hard to know everybody, not many occasions. Try to do a technical excursion. 1/2 day in the area. Come with ideas. See something at CERN
