Prospects for a Hydrogen Economy

The talk will include an introduction to hydrogen as an energy carrier of the (near) future and the relevant technologies for its production, storage, distribution and use in transport, industry, the energy sector, etc. Then, a realistic appraisal for the prospects of a hydrogen based economy in the coming decades will be attempted and discussed.
