Likely 3-4 main requests for MD1

--60degree optics (Jacqueline? Already requested?)

 

--Effect of failing IR correctors 8H 

* look at config for running with failing coupling / MCOX

* (request to be done by tobias - can combine with ML/LOBSTER studes at end. Andreas/Elena send last years request to tobias who will incorporate into his.)

* would want MD later in year to test running with alternate configurations so advantageous to be in MD1/2

 

 

--NL-optics at injection 8H

(exact plan depends on if we get extra shift at injection - Jorg will ask in LMC on wednesday)

 * 3Qy / test lhcb2 correction with new optics in prep for ecloud studies

 * f2002 and f0040 of machine with MO off - can we compensate with MCO correction from 2022?

 * b5 / RDT decay at injection
 * b5 virgin rdt / new-vs-old phase knob / correction

 * a4 / test compensation with IRcorrs 
 * RDT measurement with ADT/BBQ

 * RDT in the ramp at end of MD

(likely this is too much for a single request - initial study could be 3Qy and b4/b5 with parasitic ADT studies. a4 compensation likely to be request on it's own - perhaps later in year? To discuss tomorrow afternoon priority )

* parasitic studies of linear optics at injection via ADT with various config can be done during the NL-optics

 

-K-modulation reliability (Felix is away - no plan by tobias to submit?)

* K-mod stats/reproducibility at low-beta

* K-mod vs coupling

* K-mod at 30cm with MO to correct detuning residual

* K-mod via k-steps not oscillation

 

-Effect of IRNL errors/corrs in collision - interesting but maybe for later in year - probably more important to start with injection

 

-amplitude dep. beta-beat / K-mod with doughnuts - very cool, but also not a priority for MD1? Lets check Tomas' plans.
