Conference organised by the Banque de France and the Institut Louis Bachelier

The Green Finance Research Advances is an International Research Conference for academics and professionals, co-organized by the Banque de France and the Institut Louis Bachelier, with the participation of the Institut de la Finance Durable and the Institute for Climate Economics-I4CE.

We invite academics, regulators and professionals to submit research papers for the 8th edition of the conference, which will take place in Paris and online on December 13th-14th, 2023.

The objective of this conference is to bring together academics, finance practitioners and regulators, to discuss together research issues related to the integration of climate-related, nature-related and transition-related risks into macro-economic modelling/forecasting and into the quantitative risk assessment and pricing by the financial sector.

Integration of nature-related financial risks into the decision-making processes has emerged as both a key challenge of the coming years and an important research topic. Other aspects of and obstacles to the green transition, such as the supply of critical materials, are attracting increasing attention. The upcoming 8th Green Finance Research Advances aims to explore new issues in the field of climate-related financial risks, such as the transition risks related to critical materials or the compounding of risks, as well as highlight nature-related financial risks and their interactions with climate risks.

Consult the call for papers open for this edition.
