      BI-MME-ABT discussion

In order to ease the maintenance during operation (TS) and avoid de conditioning of the neighboring equipment (kicker) VSC colleagues have proposed to move upstream (of about 10 m) the vertical BGI and to create a new vacuum sector that should be very beneficial for operation of the machine

      Conclusions:

      • ABT: the sectorization is benefitial for the kickers. If possible it should be carried out
      • BI:
        • XEI: a relocation study will be performed to check the IPM sanity: (Sigma_x, Sigma_y) vs profile error
        • ML: an integration study will be developed to check the possible relocations
      • MME:
        • VSC: a min space reservation of 10 m should be considered to do the sectorisation. Some simulations will be carried out to check if this distance (10 m) could be optimised
        • No more constraits have to be taken into account: IT String (systems for operation of magnets at nominal conditions) OK, survey OK

      ML-ACE-VSC discussion

Integration of the vertical instrument (transition chambers, bellows, etc.)

      Conclusions

      • ML: provide the new location of the instrument + contact the collimator's group to ask about the spacer reservation in LSS5
      • VSC: provide a layout of the vacuum sectorization
      • ACE: provide the instegration model and layout for the accurate relocation of the instrument (ST1731434_01)
