TCDS updates on Ti blocks and cooling channels

Main problems identified:

- Survival of TI block even after 1 beam impact is not granted (assumptions not too conservative)

- Temperature of water in cooling channels going beyond 100 C ==> not clear if possible having a shock wave induced by boiling water which could cause damage to the channels

Actions:

- Check with vacuum if SiC really to be discarded. Any thermal treatment possible to make it compatible with vacuum ? This would reduce the energy deposition at the Ti block by a factor 2-4. Chiara will call Giuseppe and check

- Investigate if alternative materials for Ti blocks (Rui, Calum)

- Check if possible to envisage test with beam of Ti block during dump HiRadMat test of 2024 (Anton)

- Check if cooling at TCDS really needed (Chiara)

- Provide detailed info (pressure, water T etc.) of TCDS cooling system to STI (Chiara)
