Description

Challenge Based Innovation (CBI)

is a project course where multidisciplinary student teams and their instructors collaborate with researchers in the ATTRACT funded R&D&I projects and people at CERN to discover novel solutions for the future of humankind. The projects are an elaborate mixture where societal, human-driven needs meet research in detection and imaging.

Directions on how to get to CERN here: https://home.cern/directions

When on CERN site, you can find the meeting venue IdeaSquare behind the Globe, across what is now the Science Gateway parking construction site. Walk past the Globe, through a gate in the fence, turn left, and you'll find IdeaSquare.

Internet

You can connect to the CERN Visitors Wifi, using your mobile phone number. You will receive a code for the wifi that is valid for 24 hours. Please be aware that roaming costs for non-swiss mobile phone subscriptions in Switzerland (at IdeaSquare) can be very high. It is suggested to deactivate mobile data/roaming while in Switzerland.

Registration

Please make sure to register for the event through the Registration tab in order to get your CERN access badge.
Once you have it in your mailbox, keep the activation code with you so you can print the badge at the reception upon your arrival.

Note: It is possible that small changes in the programme will be made in the meantime due to CERN personnel availability.
*Estimated number of 40 attendants
