      FPGA updates:

      Josie: working on software installation (lxplus), got it running so can start working properly now. Goal is to validate the physics side of the truncated network, checking with Python code that various simplifications keep the performance.

      Axel: work on CHEP paper, deadline on September 9th. Overleaf stuff is done, we need to find a way to cut it down by a few pages, but this will happen after vacation. 

      Axel + Nicole + Alex: meeting about raw banks step for LHCb. LHCb internal MC data, can be shared but we can't publish without permission of the collaboration. 

      Caterina: Ido from Tel Aviv will join on August 1st (physically in Manchester). He will test online compression, Caterina will leave instructions to him on a google doc and others can add information.

      Brew/Debian development needs to be discussed on GitHub, issues with input from everyone because this would need some major changes.
