1) ISSUE970:  Support for digitization in ddsim
                       ==> On hold
2) ISSUE1031: SimHits versus RecHits
                       ==> Closed due to inactivity
3) ISSUE1103: Allow isotrope generator to throw range around specified (reference) direction: Waiting for User
4) PR1016:    OpticalSurface example: fix detector driver
                       ==> Pending since November
5) PR1148:        RE-OPENED:  feat: convert several DDRec constructors to use const Detector&
6) ISSUE1117:  RE-OPENED: New visualization by reference edits alpha value of referenced VisAttr.
                       Apparently order of creating logical volumes affects visualization attributes
                       Changes in ROOT now present. Still requires update in DD4hep


2)    Closed issues and fixed problems

1) ISSUE1053: Exception during GFlash, fixed in PR1160, but not really understood why

2) ISSUE 1156: HepMC3 reading remote files: fixed in PR 1158

3) PR 1159: B Couturier: allow multiple variables in string

4) PR 1157: W Deconinc: allow multiple readouts with the same name again.

Brieuc: using dd4hep 1.23 to access volume daughters was not yet possible, work around through DetElement. Easier in later DD4hep. No issue.

Frank: Working on DDML for MachineLearning via ddsim
