OSG 23

• Aiming for initial release this Friday
• EL8 and EL9 support only
• Major packages include HTCondor 23, HTCondor-CE 23, and XRootD 5.6.2
• OSG 3.6 EOL will coincide with EL7 EOL

Other

• CA cert workaround for SHA1-signed CAs ~2 weeks ago caused issues with Java-based services
• The OSG Software Stack does not contain any Java software
• We expect to release the workaround again but provide a CA distribution RPM without the workaround for sites running Java-based services
  • We will announce the release ahead of time to avoid transfer issues
  • This split may be temporary as dCache devs attempt to address the cert reading limitations in BouncyCastle
