The EIC-Korea workshop is a nuclear physics meeting dedicated to the exploration of academic advancements in both theoretical and experimental domains. In theory aspects, our discussions encompass a diverse array of QCD studies, spanning topics such as hadron physics, relativistic heavy ion physics, and lattice gauge theory. In the experimental sector, our focus will be on Korea's pioneering contributions to detector R&D for the EIC detector, the ePIC. A central theme will be the cultivation of collaborative synergy between Korean researchers and international institutes, fostering a dynamic exchange of expertise and ideas. In the first meeting, we will embark on dialogues for the establishment of a robust collaborative framework, uniting theorists and experimentalists. This collaborative ethos is proposed to pave the way for the exciting new discoveries at the EIC.
