The MATHUSLA LLP Detector Proposal - current status and prospects

Room: Sunrise - WH11NE I will review the current status of the MATHUSLA LLP detector proposal by the international MATHUSLA collaboration, including recent theoretical and simulation progress in understanding physics reach and backgrounds, but most importantly recent work towards a realistic design and completion of the upcoming Conceptual Design Report (CDR). I will conclude with a list of current work streams in the collaboration, and immediate opportunities for new members to make a significant impact.
