D.S. reported on the latest CSC meeting and the ILC workshop in Eugene, Oregon.

M.J. presented the status of the CLIC operation and commissioning studies. For machine protection reasons after beam losses occurred the beam brilliance needs to be reduced to a safe level. Re-starting from there step by step nominal operation has to be restored. An appropriate scheme needs to be worked out. D.S. pointed out that the decelerators will be more complicated than the combiner rings. Beam dynamics is strongly non-linear in these section. Different beam line settings will be needed during beam ramp up. D.S. asked about the impact of klystron failure in the DBA. Breakdown in the main linac cavities and the consequences have been discussed.
