Coordination meeting for the ARTIFACT project

  • Carsten asked the question on the connection to the SDGs goals (see https://sdgs.un.org/goals)
  • Agreed that we should a guideline on assessment of environmental impact (few slides + small doc).

• News about the overall structure and organisation : 
  • official green light for administrative coordination of GANIL.
  • WP split, naming etc ...
    • WP numbering an naming checked with everyone ;
    • A discussion is ongoing with two technical workpackages : "Agile smart accelerator simulations" and "AI algorithm for the accelerator context". More to come in the next week ;
    •  ESF is in charge of the "communication and industry workpackage". The WP name will be changed and a co-leader is to be added to this workpackage.
• General communication : A short presentation summary of the status of the project to be sent to the general mailing list. In this presentation, we will have one slide per work-package. We would like to ask every WP leader/deputy to fill this one slide with few bullet points and contact information. You can do so in the interactive ppt.

  • Information has been received from everyone except from the communication WP and the "agile smart accelerator protoype" workpackage.

• Feedback on submitted, accepted and rejected projects for the previous infratec (Jade)

• Industry : companies contacted and involved in the project
  • There were three meetings with companies this week : SICARA, TOUWI and Pantechnik.
  • A simplified screening process will be put in place (ESF)
