      Discussion topics

Anastasiya showed slides of integration.    The coordinates are   y along the beam, x into the LHC center.  And z vertically up (but not gravity).

The LHC is tilted, which is accounted for.

The beam axis is nominal.  The actually beam may change due to the crossing angle of the collision.

      1. What is the optimal way to operate the cryogenics for FLARE.   The TBF-80 unit for Nitrogen liquifaction is not available
      2. Can we simply use nitrogen from the surface.
      3. Microboone cooling needed 10 kW.
      4. another option available is a GM2 helium cooler:  Larry:  such a cooler could have 4 kW.   SteveT:  such a cooler produced double the heat.
      5. Filippo:   we need the correct expertise to evaluate the options.

      Dear Mr.Strabocchi,

Thank you for your email and inquiry.
For your information, the TBF-80 is not any more in the catalog.
The closest unit available is the TBF-175 or 350.
Please find here attached a brochure with associated information.
Let me know if you have any questions or need more information,
      Best regards

      Yannick

--  Anastasiya made a first detailed attempt to fit everything together.  Her slides show numerous conflicts.

      1. How do we make more space
        1. The cavern could be lengthened by 5 meters.
        2. MVD suggested adding a basement floor.  The basement has the advantage of having lower muon rates.
        3. If there is a basement, how does one support the experiments to be in the beam.

MVD will make some simple drawings of the basement proposal.

      Magnet needs considerably more detail.
