Discussion with Leonidas on work about sustainable computing.

• Focus on carbon footprint for cumputing, deducing recommendations for use of CC, presented at Demokritos internally

• Internal deadline: end February (29/02/2024).

• Description: "A review of the Data Management Plan (DMP) and options for future computing strategies by external experts will be arranged close to the project start, and the DMP will be updated taking into account the findings. The deliverable is the report of the DMP review panel."

• Progress with LHC-ONE, will introduce at one of the upcoming meetings to the network

Task 4.2 Open Data

• Started testing candidate systems for an open data center: https://git.km3net.de/open-data/odc-tester (docs)
• Planning to finalize testing in February, then take decision and starting setup.
• Would like to expand use cases - MM, use in CC?

• Next meeting: shift time to 10am? Only if Comp-Soft stays in the 11am slot.
