Abstract:
Pixel detectors at LHC are located close to the interaction point and therefore are exposed to high level of radiation. In this talk various radiation effects, induced in silicon detectors, will be reviewed. I will discuss effects present in silicon sensors, like for example high leakage currents, as well as effects induced in the CMOS readout electronics, like for example so called single-event-upsets.
