MEDICIS

• A double collection of Ra-224 and Ra-225 (two alpha emitters of interest for nuclear medicine) have been performed last week and over the week-end.
• 700 MBq of Ra-224 and 110 MBq of Ra-225 have been extracted for two different institutes: Dresden in Germany and NPL in London, respectively.
• This week, a direct irradiation of #833M is ongoing that will be completed by indirect irradiation over the long week-end. It will be used for Dy/Tb-155 collection next week.

 

Class A

• Decontamination of the 26Al chamber went well last week for nTOF - a few things remaining, but it seems they should be able to continue with their experiments for the remaining 2 months now
• Induction of new firefighters to b.179 yesterday
• The cooling upgrades to b.179 have been delayed and are looking to be implemented now either June or August
