Description
External Advisory Board (EAB) will once per year to provide feedback to the A3D3 regarding the overall goals and evolving plans of the project. The EAB consist of external experts in each of the coordination areas and AI experts from industry. ย
The pre-EAB meetings on August 19-20 will be held remotely. The in-person EAB meeting is scheduled for September 12-13 at UIUC. The EAB will review the A3D3 status, milestone accomplishments, and future plans. A review report will be written by the EAB within two weeks following the meeting to provide advice on A3D3.

The EAB meeting will take place at Loomis Laboratory of Physics in the Interaction Room (2nd floor of Loomis Lab).
There will be a working dinner in the Main Street Room at Big Grove Tavern from 6-9 pm on Thursday, September 12.ย
The recommended (closest) hotels for the EAB meeting are:
- Hampton Inn (1200 W. University Ave, Urbana)
- Located on campus, this hotel a short 10 minute walk to Loomis Laboratory, so its the most convenient location to get to the EAB meeting location. It also has free parking.ย
- Hyatt Place (217 N. Neil St, Champaign)
- Located in downtown Champaign, this hotel is a short 5 minute drive (taxi, ride-share) to the EAB meeting location. It is also catty-corner from Big Grove Tavern, which is where the Thursday evening EAB working dinner is located.ย
