  • Milestone for XRootD 5.7.0
    • Need to update docs for new load balancing algorithm
  • Official DEB repositories are back, for Debian 11, 12, and Ubuntu 22.04, 24.04

  • Release 5.7 has been released
  • Solution for now is to use OpenSSL 3.2 on Alma 9 (EOS public migrated and working fine)
  • HTTP gateways using nginx on Alma 9 needed a patch for nginx to support using proxy certificates
    • Considering move to XrdHttp for CERN opendata
    • Authentication is not necessary, but browsing is desirable
