Summary of Meeting

• The ASP2024 student application period has officially closed as of January 15, 2024.

• We received 534 applications 

• We went through the Application database. If you've volunteered to assist in this crucial task, you should already have received instructions from the ICTP on how to access the application database and input your written reviews

• IOC has shared with you a folder, containing two essential files: Excel file and a word file

• We demonstrated the application review process and dedicated significant time to discussion.

• Excel document titled "ASP2024-StudentSelections"

• We've organized the review process into 8 specialized sub-committees. 

• Each sub-committee is composed of 3 reviewers and is assigned a set of countries with approximately 66 applications to review 

• We've organized the sub-committees based on regions and specific characteristics of the applications.

• Word document titled "ASP2024 Student Selection"

•  We discussed how we'll be rating the applicants

• The review will start on February 1, 2024, and must be completed by February 28

• Please don’t review any applications until you have been briefed and you have understood what is expected from you as a reviewer

• This process ensures a thorough and fair evaluation of our applicants. Please review the document for more detailed instructions, and if there are any questions or clarifications needed, feel free to ask
